In a draft lottery where historical franchises in Los Angeles and Boston were expected to re-up with a top-3 talent, the opposite came true: for the third time in four years, the Cleveland Cavaliers (1.7% chance to win the lottery) won the draft lottery, being awarded the number one overall pick in the most anticipated draft since 2003.
