The Big 12 conference is known for producing its fair share of prodigious pocket-passers and dual-threat signal-callers, but this year may be the exception to that rule with a number of schools facing uncertainty at the game’s most important position.
More than half the conference has questions at quarterback after the conclusion of spring practice with Texas, TCU, West Virginia, Kansas, Iowa State and even Oklahoma State needing the summer and fall to determine who will take the snaps this season.
Baylor, Kansas State, Texas Tech and Oklahoma have fewer questions than the aforementioned teams, but that doesn’t necessarily mean each of the quarterbacks at those programs doesn’t have a few issues needed to work out before the season kicks off in September.
