Man, Colorado just can’t catch a break with weather. Just the other week it was snowing, and today a huge storm has rolled through, dropping hail of all things.

Check out this picture of the Colorado Rapids’ field, so you can see for yourself.

This is just absurd. May 21st and Colorado has to deal with biblical hail storms.

The good news for the Rapids is that they’re next home game isn’t until Saturday, so the field should be good to go by then–unless, you know, another crazy storm pops up. It’s supposed to be 73 degrees, with a low chance of precipitation, however, so everything looks good.

The Rapids, by the way, are currently sitting in 5th place in the Western Conference with 15 points. Through 11 games they hold a 4-3-4 record, scoring just 12 goals, while allowing 14. Saturday they take on the Montreal Impact, who have just 7 points, the worst mark in the league.
