FOX Sports 1 hires Adrian Wojnarowski as NBA insider
By Josh Sanchez
The folks at FOX Sports 1 are determined to compete with ESPN and become the top sports network on television. To do so, they must first establish some quality insiders for each of the major sports like the World Wide Leader does. Today, FOX Sports 1 made a huge hire that automatically makes them the go-to place for up-to-the-minute NBA news.

According to a report from The Big Lead, FOX Sports 1 has agreed to a deal with Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports that will make him their NBA insider.
That means the guy that everyone respects is a member of the FOX Sports team, while the guys who often just steal his reports and take credit for them remain over in Bristol.
You won’t find an NBA fan out there that will believe the ESPN reporting is better after this hire.
As for what the news means for his writing, it doesn’t change a thing.
Wojnarowski will still be able to write for Yahoo, so all will be well in the world. We just get the added bonus of seeing him taking his reporting to television.
