Bruce Buffer is a man of many talents, but he has created an entire business around his iconic voice alongside his half-brother, Michael Buffer. Bruce is the President and CEO of their company, ‘The Buffer Partnership.’
Bruce started his job as the in-ring announcer for the UFC way back in 1996 at UFC 10 and he is still going strong to this day.
Recently, he has been moonlighting as a wedding announcer for famous UFC athletes and personalities. Okay, so that may be stretching the truth a bit, but Buffer did recently perform at Michael Bisping’s wedding.
Bisping apparently asked Buffer to introduce him and his wife for the first time after they were formally married. Luckily, Rick Lee videotaped the entire ordeal for our viewing pleasure.
Check out the video below:
That announcement has to automatically be in the top 5 best Bruce Buffer moments of all time right? No longer will any wedding be as cool as the Bisping wedding thanks in part to Bruce Buffer.
As for Michael Bisping and fighting, he most recently lost to army veteran Tim Kennedy in a dreadful five round affair in April. The fight was Bisping’s first in just under a year, and he looked rusty from the get go.
As of now, Bisping has no scheduled opponent, but there are talks and rumors that he and Brad Tavares are willing to fight. Tavares most recently had his five fight winning streak snapped when he lost to Yoel Romero by unanimous decision at UFC on FOX 11 this past April.
