Johnny Manziel’s agent has a response to the $25 million sexual harassment lawsuit that was recently filed against his client in a Florida court by a woman named Samantha Schacher.

That response can be summed up in two words: baloney sausage.

Manziel’s agent Erik Burkhardt tweeted:

The claims made in the suit certainly strike one as ridiculous. Among other things, Schacher claims that Manziel one sent her a pic of himself with his dong inside a hot dog bun. She also says Manziel sent her a picture of Jadeveon Clowney’s penis and asked her if she could “handle that monster.”

The fabrications of a delirious mind? Probably. But you can’t blame Burkhardt for scrambling to shoot down the allegations, silly as they may seem. In the current culture, people are ready to believe just about anything. You need to get ahead of this stuff or it festers and becomes a problem.

It’s worse for Manziel because he already has a reputation as a fellow who gets up to all sorts of mischief. At a time when Manziel is trying to re-make his image as a solid professional, the last thing he needs is something like this hitting him in the head.

Manziel needs to focus on football, not fending off the crazed accusations of a likely schizophrenic nut case.
