The Minnesota Wild have some amazing perks for fans. One of which occurred Thursday night.

Season ticket holders were allowed to paint the ice, turning the surface of the ice into a canvass. Words, pictures, you name it, were slathered on all areas of the ice.

Around 450 people attended the event. In addition to being able to draw on the ice, dressing room tours, floor hockey and face painting were among events being held.

In ture social media fashion, various pictures were tweeted by attendees using the hashtag: #painttheice. Some great ones include:

One couple even snapped some wedding invite response pictures:

Definitely a success in the minds of fans, the Wild office staff should consider events such as this in the future.
