NCAA Baseball regional sites revealed

On Sunday, the college baseball regular season (well, the conference tournaments) officially came to a close.

In the most notable games, the LSU Tigers upended the Florida Gators 2-0 to win the SEC Championship, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets beat the Maryland Terrapins 9-4 to take home the ACC crown, the TCU Horned Frogs took down the Oklahoma State Cowboys 7-1 to win the Big 12 and the Indiana Hoosiers took home the Big 10 title with an 8-4 victory over the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

After all of the games came to a close the NCAA announced the 16 teams that would be hosting NCAA Regionals when the College World Series gets underway later this week.

Those teams are the following:

  • Cal Poly Mustangs
  • Florida Gators
  • Florida State Seminoles
  • Indiana Hoosiers
  • Louisville Cardinals
  • Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns
  • LSU Tigers
  • Miami Hurricanes
  • Oklahoma State Cowboys
  • Ole Miss Rebels
  • Oregon State Beavers
  • South Carolina Gamecocks
  • TCU Horned Frogs
  • Rice Owls
  • Vanderbilt Commodores
  • Virginia Cavaliers


On Monday at noon EST, ESPNU will air the selection show. The other 48 teams in the 64-field team will be announced and the eight “national” seeds will also be revealed. Those eight national seeds are guaranteed of hosting a Super Regional should they get out of their Regional.
