On Sunday afternoon, the Oklahoma City Thunder announced that big man Serge Ibaka would be returning to the starting line up for Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals against the San Antonio Spurs.

More from NBA

After losing the first two games of the series, it was clear that the Thunder were missing Ibaka on both sides of the court. It was initially reported that he would miss the remainder of the postseason, so getting Ibaka great was a very welcome moment for the Thunder.

When the team was introduced for Game 3 on Sunday night, the crowd couldn’t have been happier to see Ibaka back on the court as they gave him a standing ovation when he was announced over the PA system.

Oklahoma City is currently trailing the Spurs 2-0 in the series, but they have two games in a row on their home court that will allow them to even things up and give us a great series with a spot at the NBA Finals on the line.
