NHL15 Cover Vote: P.K. Subban vs. Patrice Bergeron

P.K. Subban of the Montreal Canadiens and Patrice Bergeron of the Boston Bruins battled against one another in the Eastern Conference semifinals this postseason and now the two are in direct competition for the right to be the cover athlete for NHL15 after each advanced through the semifinal round of voting.

You can place your vote for the former Norris Trophy winning defenseman in Subban whose team trails the New York Rangers 3-1 in the Eastern Conference Final or for the Bruins center who scored a career-high 30 goals this season by visiting the official ballot page. Voting ends on June 1.

To get to the finals in the cover vote, Subban knocked off fellow defenseman Drew Doughty from the Los Angeles Kings who currently own a 2-1 series lead against the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks and Bergeron defeated Olympic hero T.J. Oshie.

Who do you think will win and represent the NHL on NHL15?

Vote for your favorite at the ballot page listed above and let us know who is your pick to win the honor in the comments section below.

The Canadiens knocked off the President’s Trophy winning Bruins in the postseason in a hard-fought seven game series with Subban being an integral part in the upset win, could Subban do in the Bruins again for the second time in a month and a half?

Personally, I think it would be pretty cool if Subban joined Jarome Iginla as the second Africa-American player to appear on the cover of the video game series.
