This isn’t the first time that Apple is choosing to livestream an event. However, whenever Apple does broadcast something live online, it usually means that something big is going to be shown to those in attendance.
With numerous rumors floating around, including that of a smart home system, it’s expected that Apple will be revealing a piece, or set, of brand new technology for the world to behold. Other rumored devices include an update to Apple TV, the new iPhone and a smartwatch.
The live-streamed event will take place on Monday, June 2nd starting at 1pm ET (10am PT).

While I would love to see them unveil a new smartwatch or something integrating the recently acquired Beats technology, I feel that the rumored smart home system is what will ultimately be shown. I won’t say I’m not interested in seeing it, but it’s not something that I would ever utilize, so, I’m not overly thrilled about the idea.
