Aqib Talib says Peyton Manning is better than Tom Brady

It seems as if Aqib Talib just can’t keep his mouth shut.

The defensive back, who a few months ago all but blasted the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and praised his then team, the New England Patriots is back at it with a new target.
Now a member of the Denver Broncos, Talib, while calling Tom Brady a friend, said Peyton Manning is a better quarterback between the two.
“You gotta go Peyton Manning. Tom is a good friend of mine, what’s up Tom, baby. [But Manning] had an awesome year. He tore it up. He like set the record for touchdowns. He beat Tom in the AFC Championship. You gotta give it to Peyton. Tom know that’s my dog man, he know,” Talib said, via Tom E. Curran of CSNNE.com.
Now, Talib might not actually be incorrect in his assessment but it’s certainly a little but of suspect timing considering Talib is now a member of the Broncos, already pouring a little more fuel on the budding rivalry between the two franchises.
Do we think Talib gives Manning the nod over Brady if the question was asked when the defensive back was a member of the Patriots? I have a feeling we’d have received a different answer, especially given how often Talib was willing to praise the Patriots franchise he so desperately wanted to return to.
Not done, Talib took a minor parting shot at Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, suggesting that it was Belichick who let Talib get away and wouldn’t pay him but would pay Darrelle Revis.
