For fans of the wildly popular FX Original Series Sons of Anarchy, it feels like forever since we have seen a new episode. Unfortunately, we are going to have to wait a few more months until we can really catch up with Jax Teller and the rest of SAMCRO. Thankfully, that doesn’t mean that we’ll have nothing to gaze upon in the meantime.
In the interest of fairness, there will be spoilers contained within, so proceed with caution.
Dominic Pagone, the Vice President of Media Relations over at FX took to his Twitter account earlier in the week to give fans a small glimpse at what they can expect when the final, yes…I unfortunately did say final, season of Sons of Anarchy.
According to Pagone, the images are from one of two promo shoots for the upcoming seventh season.
In all of the images, we get a look at Jax Teller himself, who is played in the series by the amazing Charlie Hunnam. In the first image, we see Charlie sitting in his chair reading over what one would assume is the script for the promo.
Next, we have an image of him in a very similar position. It looks as if he is ready to start the shoot.
The next two images show Jax and his bike. Because, what would a show about a group of bikers be without their bikes?
Last, but certainly not least, we have a picture of Jax standing in front of the camera with the lights shining down on him.
This will more than likely be a recurring theme for Hunnam. When we left the gang last season, Jax had just found his wife Tara in a bloody mess on the floor.
As he held her lifeless body in his arms and grieved the loss of the woman he loved, and the mother of his child, who should walk in but Tyne Patterson, the woman who would love nothing more than to see Jax behind bars for the rest of his natural born life.
I think it is safe to say that she is going to try to find a way to pin this on Jax and bring the club down in the process. Will she succeed? I guess we’ll have to watch and find out.
Sons of Anarchy returns for their final season this September on FX.
