The Los Angeles Clippers are going to be sold one way or another it seems and the list of potential buyers is growing by the minute. While we’ve had our fair share of famous faces show an interest in getting a group together to make a bid on the team, one name we haven’t yet heard has entered the race and he’s armed with lots and lots of money.

More from Los Angeles Clippers

In fact, he’s armed with the most amount of money in all of Los Angeles, as Patrick Soon-Shiong is going to be getting in on the bidding to own the Clippers and seems like a pretty good candidate to take control of the team.

He’s not a famous name like Dr. Dre, Oprah or any of the other celebrities who have been mentioned as possible new owners of the Clippers but he’s certainly got the assets to make a serious run at buying the team.

The question is, will he make the Sterling’s an offer they like, as just because he has gobs of money doesn’t mean he’s going to just give it away to buy the Clippers. He’s a rich man and Soon-Shiong hasn’t amassed the net worth he has by simply making rash decisions.

He’s a viable candidate to say the least and will be a name to watch as the eventual sale of the Clippers nears.
