The Toronto Raptors had a fantastic season.

More from NBA

They won the Atlantic Division and were a blocked shot away from defeating the Brooklyn Nets in game 7 of their first round series.

Now the Raptors will face an uncertain offseason that will center around the future of soon-to-be free agent point guard Kyle Lowry. If the Raptors don’t quickly progress on a deal with Lowry, he could receive a bigger offer elsewhere, meaning the Raptors would have to find his replacement through free agency or the draft.

One popular name associated with the Raptors is former Syracuse Orange point guard and Brampton, Ontario native Tyler Ennis.

On Tuesday, the Raptors announced that Ennis would be working out for the team.

"The pre-draft workouts will be held on the Raptors’ practice court at Air Canada Centre and will be closed for public viewing. Media will have an opportunity for photos, video footage and player interviews following each session. A member of the Raptors Basketball Operations staff will also be available for comments.Although he is projected to be taken before the Raptors make their draft pick, guard Tyler Ennis (Syracuse) will highlight Thursday’s session with his first pre-draft workout in his hometown. He was recently named to the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Freshman team and was a semi-finalist for the prestigious Naismith College Player of the Year Award. Ennis will join a wave of local talent recently selected in the NBA Draft, including Anthony Bennett (1st pick in 2013 by Cleveland), Kelly Olynyk (13th pick in 2013 by Boston), Andrew Nicholson (19th pick in 2012 by Orlando), Tristan Thompson (4th pick in 2011 by Cleveland) and Cory Joseph (29th pick in 2011 by San Antonio)."

Ennis will almost certainly not be available when the Raptors get on the clock with the 20th-overall pick, so a trade would be necessary.

Ennis averaged 12.9 points, 5.5 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game last season.
