This is bad new for the Oklahoma City Thunder as they look to tie up the series 2-2 against the San Antonio Spurs.

On a bang-bang play, starting shooting guard Reggie Jackson twisted his ankle going up for a layup against Spurs guard Danny Green. Here is video of the incident below:

Upon injury, Reggie Jackson would head to the locker room, but not until after this weird incident with noted referee Joey Crawford.

With Jackson out, the Thunder are now missing a player who has been pivotal in competing with the Spurs this season. During the regular season, Jackson averaged 21.3 points on 67 percent shooting against the Spurs. While his overall production has dropped against San Antonio in the playoffs, he’s still been a key player as Scott Brooks inserted the point guard into the starting lineup following Thabo Sefalosha’s inability to impact the game.

In the three games of the Western Conference finals, the San Antonio Spurs have posted a defensive rating of 109.4 when Reggie Jackson is on the floor. That number drops to 80.5 when Jackson is subbed out of the game.

With Jackson out, Scott Brooks has turned to Jeremy Lamb to take Jackson’s place in the lineup.

Per the National Basketball Association Public Relations Twitter account, Reggie Jackson is questionable to return to the game.
