Carey Price takes ice for Montreal Canadiens practice

The Montreal Canadiens have watched netminder Dustin Tokarski step up in a big way since Carey Price went down with an injury, but now there has been some interesting buzz around the team with news that Price has been skating in full pads during practice.

After being spotted on Tuesday, Montreal head coach Michel Therrien made it clear that Price would not be playing for the remainder of the Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Rangers, but now Price is back on the ice again and the chatter will not be going away.

On Wednesday morning, another photo of Price on the ice doing drills in full pads surfaced and you can check that out below.

From Brett Cyrgalis of the New York Post:

It would certainly be an interesting dilemma for the Canadiens if Price is healthy enough to play, but Therrien sounds convincing when he says Price will remain on the bench for the duration of the series against New York.

When you take into consideration how well Tokarski has been playing, it would only make sense.

However, if the Canadiens are able to complete the comeback and advance to the Stanley Cup Finals, the team will have to figure out which goalie to roll with in the biggest series of the year.
