Miami Heat's Chris Bosh: 'I don't want to go anywhere'

The Miami Heat hold a 3-1 advantage over the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals, meaning they are just one win away from advancing to the NBA finals for the fourth consecutive season.

If the Heat can put away with the Pacers and then defeat the winner of the Western Conference Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs (their series is even at two games apiece) to win the third consecutive title (and even if they don’t), the focus will shift to futures of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, who can all become free agents in July.

Back in March, Bosh said that he believed both he and James would return to the Heat and he said yes to both (Wade was not included in the question). On Tuesday, Bosh was on ESPN Radio and reiterated his plans to remain with the Heat, even admitting that he may be willing to return at a reduced salary if he had to do so.

"Chris Bosh kind of said this a couple months ago, but he reiterated it clearly and flatly today in an interview on ESPN Radio: He will be back next year.Bosh was asked about his upcoming opportunity to leave in free agency during an appearance on The Dan LeBatard Show this afternoon and said, “Yeah, I mean, I don’t want to go anywhere. I like it here. It’s Miami. Everybody wants to come here. Yeah.”When asked if he would accept a below-market offer from the Heat, he answered, “If that’s what it takes.”"

Bosh, who averaged 16.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game this season, is coming off a 25-point, six rebound performance in the Heat’s 102-90 game 4 victory over the Pacers.
