The NBA offseason has arrived for all but four teams in the league and the Miami Heat could make it three if they bounce the Indiana Pacers in the Conference Finals tonight. But for the other teams in the league who aren’t in the postseason, this summer will be spent adding pieces and making moves that will ensure they are in a position to succeed in 2014-15.

It’s not always a glamorous free agent market, but the NBA usually produces more than a few names who float around in the summer and garner attention you otherwise wouldn’t think as being attention grabbing names. This summer, one of those players is New York Knicks guard Toure’ Murry, who is reportedly drawing interest from three teams trying to contend again next season.

According to ESPN New York, the Chicago Bulls, Brooklyn Nets and Golden State Warriors are all teams with interest in signing Murry this offseason.

Last season was Murry’s rookie year in the NBA but he didn’t set anyone on fire with his statistics throughout the season. But what he did do was start to come into his own down the stretch of the year and his increased potential coupled with his 6-foot-5 frame as a guard makes him an attractive player in schemes run in Chicago, Brooklyn and Golden State.

Of course, the Knicks can put in a qualifying offer on him and try to retain Murry, but there’s interest building throughout the league and New York had better think quickly about whether or not Murry fits with what Phil Jackson is building.
