New poster for Zach Braff comedy Wish I Was Here

We are just under two months away from the release of the upcoming comedy Wish I Was Here. Fortunately, we don’t have to wait another two months to see something from the film. Thanks to the people at E! Online, we have a look at a new poster for the film that gives us another look at the characters in the film.

Wish I Was Here tells the story of Aidan Bloom, who is played in the film by Scrubs actor Zach Braff. Bloom is a middle-aged struggling actor, husband, and father who is still trying to find his place in the world, and the purpose in his life.

After his father is no longer able to afford to pay for his children to attend private school, Bloom begins looking for other options.

When he realizes that the only available public school is on it’s very last legs, he decides that he is going to home school his kids. Along the way, he starts to find himself and discovers where it is he wants to be in this world.

Wish I Was Here is being directed by Braff. He also co-write the script for the film with his brother Adam J. Braff.

The film is definitely not lacking in terms of a good cast. The film also stars Kate Hudson, The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons, Joey King, The Twilight Saga’s Ashley Greene, Mandy Patinkin, and Braff’s Scrubs co-star Donald Faison.

Wish I Was Here is scheduled to be released on July 25, 2014.
