Over the last few years, the Pac-12 has been well known for its’ high-flying offenses and the excellent quarterbacks.  With several of the league’s top quarterbacks returning, including a few legitimate NFL prospects (and possibly a couple that will be first round draft picks in the 2015 NFL Draft), nothing should change in 2014.

Everything starts with the Oregon Ducks and Marcus Mariota. Yes, the Stanford Cardinal have defeated the Ducks in each of the last two seasons, won the conference in 2013 and return quarterback Kevin Hogan, who has had an excellent career, but Mariota was the Heisman Trophy front runner for half of the season last year and was viewed by some as the potential number one pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Instead, Mariota decided to return to school in an attempt to not only improve his game, but to lead the Ducks to a National Championship, something he thought he was on his way towards last season before the Cardinal and an injury took that train off of the tracks.

Mariota and Hogan aren’t the only quarterbacks returning – Brett Hundley of the UCLA Bruins could be a first rounder, Taylor Kelly of the Arizona State Sun Devils had a fantastic season and both Oregon State Beavers’ signal-caller Sean Mannion and Washington State Cougars’ quarterback Connor Halliday have put up big numbers in the past.

Over the next few pages, you can find the top 10 quarterbacks in the Pac-12 entering the 2014 season.
