Jameis Winston novelty ‘crab shack’ t-shirt (Photo)
Florida State Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston may have moved on from his shoplifting incident this spring after completing his community service after walking out of a Tallahassee Publix with $32.72 worth of seafood, but the rival Florida Gators certainly haven’t forgotten about it.

Per Chase Goodbread of NFL.com, “The Gator Mania apparel store in a Gainesville, Fla., mall, in the form of gag T-shirts for “Jameis’ Famous Crab Shack Emporium.” The T-shirt, of course in the Gator colors of orange and blue, are being sold for $18.99. A slogan reading “Eat ‘Em Like You Stole ‘Em” is on the front of the shirt, and the back reads “Our crabs are always at a five-finger discount.”
Nothing beats college football rivalries and I fully expect to see plenty of these t-shirts when the Gators take on the Seminoles next season when the Gators travel to Tallahassee’s Doak Campbell Stadium in 2014.

Of course, the Gator Nation has to be careful what they ask for as former Florida tight end, Aaron Hernandez was just in court on Wednesday where he pleaded guilty two charges of murder. Further, the Seminoles did clobber the Gators 37-7 last year en route to winning the national championship while the Gators slumped to one of their worst seasons in decades, finishing with a 4-8 record.
But this is a humorous t-shirt to take a few jabs at last year’s Heisman Trophy winner and if Florida didn’t take advantage of this incident, then they would be failing to hold up their end of the rivalry between the two Sunshine State rivals.
