If the Philadelphia 76ers can hit on both of their picks in the 2014 NBA Draft, they could be set for some time.

The 76ers own both the third and 10th-overall picks in next month’s draft and already have a few nice pieces. Last year, the 76ers traded for the rights to former Kentucky Wildcats’ big man Nerlens Noel, the sixth-overall pick in the 2013 draft. Although he missed the entire season rehabbing from a torn ACL, many considered him the top prospect in the 2013 draft. With the 11th-overall pick, they selected former Syracuse Orange point guard Michael Carter-Williams, who won the Rookie of the Year Award.

According to Tom Moore of Calkins Media, 76ers’ general manager Sam Hinkie was in Long Island to watch both former Indiana Hoosiers’ big man Noah Vonleh and Carter-Williams’ replacement at Syracuse, Tyler Ennis, work out.

"There are rumblings the Cavaliers could grab the 7-foot Embiid — assuming the stress fracture in his back is no longer an issue — at No. 1. If the Bucks opt for Duke forward Jabari Parker at No. 2, Kansas forward Andrew Wiggins would drop to the Sixers at No. 3 in that scenario.Hinkie, who is conducting the team’s draft workouts in private, director of player personnel Courtney Witte and the Sixers were among the clubs attending a session Wednesday on Long Island that featured Indiana power forward Noah Vonleh, Syracuse point guard Tyler Ennis and some potential second-round prospects, according to an NBA source. The Sixers have five second-rounders in the draft."

Vonleh averaged 11.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game last season while Ennis put up 12.9 points, 5.5 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game.
