There is a rumor making the rounds regarding the future of the Philadelphia 76ers uniforms. According to Interstate 76ers, the team will be unveiling a new look during the 2015 offseason.

More from NBA

Interstate 76ers report indicates the new jerseys would be to go along with the teams “rebuilding and rebranding effort that began this past season.”

There was no word on what changes would be made to the 76ers new uniforms or what colors would be prominently featured.

Of course, there is also no guarantee that the report is 100 percent accurate.

If it proves to be true, however, it would be interesting to see what the 76ers are able to come up with for their new look moving forward.

There are a number of ways the team could go.

We have seen the 76ers bring back a retro feel to their uniforms when they made the most recent change, but they could go back even further.

The team could always go with the two-toned PHILA jerseys, which would look horrendous, or they could find a way to get even more stars into the mix like in previous years. This is always an interesting option, but the throwback jerseys that feature a white panel down the side would be another great choice.
