On Friday night, Indiana Pacers guard Lance Stephenson was up to his same old tricks as he tried to get under the skin of the Miami Heat. Unfortunately for Stephenson, his act is starting to wear thin with the Heat and they are starting to return the favor.

Before the half, Heat veteran Shane Battier was able to come up from behind Stephenson and begin to rough him up with a forearm to the chin that knocked Stephenson right onto his butt.

The physicality from Battier came after Stephenson slapped LeBron James in the face earlier in the game, along with clotheslining Norris Cole.

Stephenson has not been backing down and he has been progressively been picking up his antics since blowing on LeBron, so the NBA needs to keep a close eye on the situation because things could only get worse and create some bad images for the league.

Battier takes matters into his own hands. Teammate of the year…well deserved.

Genius — he doesn’t even get called for a foul, then Scola knees Lance in the head. Battier is really a master of this stuff.
