Sony has released a brand new video showing off the gameplay of upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive Driveclub. The video shows off the beautiful landscape of Canada while taking a Pagani Huayra for a spin.
Originally slated to be a launch title on the PS4, Driveclub has been hit with a few delays as the development of the racer hasn’t gone according to plan. At one point, it was reported that the game was being taken “back to the drawing board” in order to make it the best it can possibly be.
It wasn’t long after that report that it was revealed that the game’s development director, Col Rodgers, had left the studios, explaining why the game was being taken back to said drawing board.
Driveclub launches exclusively on the PlayStation 4 on October 7, 2014. It will run at 1080p/30fps on Sony’s latest console.
Mike’s Musings: The game looks good, but that’s to be expected with racing games because of their ability to showcase a console’s processing power. The bigger concern is hoping that game plays as well as it looks. With all the delays it has experience, there is no reason as to why this shouldn’t be the best simulation racing game released in 2014.
