The fiasco between the NBA and Los Angeles Clippers’ owner may finally be nearing conclusion, but it certainly has taken a toll on the Clippers’ fan base. The NBA has approved the sale of the team to Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and only the pending approval by the Board of Governors is in the way of the official transaction.

With the team now looking forward to their future under Ballmer, the fan base has reacted positively as well. One such fan has gone as far as shaving his head to only leave Ballmer’s name to display his support for the move.

Steve Ballmer will be taking over in one of the most successful era’s for the franchise as the team looks to bounce back from their second round exit to the Oklahoma City Thunder during the playoffs. Ballmer has been widely regarded as a great option to own a team in the NBA and the prospect of his takeover of the Clippers likely expedited the process for his approval as the organization looks to replace Donald Sterling and the actions that forced the just movement to remove him as an owner of a NBA franchise.

Ballmer has been said to be a big basketball fan and even with his connection to Microsoft and their headquarters near Seattle, Washington, the Clippers aren’t going anywhere and fans of the team everywhere have much to be proud of for the team’s future.
