Did you know Boris Diaw is only 32 years old? No really, I just looked it up because I thought he was much older but it turns out he’s only 32.

More from NBA

Like, I just assumed he was in his late 30s, but yeah, I guess not.

Anyways, despite being a much larger version of the man who came into the league over 10 years ago, Diaw is still a key contributor to a championship caliber team.

You know who lead the San Antonio Spurs in scoring last night? Yep, Boris Diaw. In the biggest game of the Spurs’ season, their leading scorer was Boris Diaw.

He came off the bench to play 36 minutes, dropping 26 points on 8-14 shooting. It was an incredible performance from both Diaw and the Spurs as they held on to defeat the Thunder in overtime and advance to their second straight NBA Finals and a rematch with the Miami Heat.

But aside from scoring 26 points, Diaw also gave us quite the laugh, as he popped Tiago Splitter right in the face with a pass.

Diaw had the ball down in the paint, but with the much bigger (and much more athletic) Serge Ibaka standing between him and the basket, Diaw decided the best move would be to kick the ball out. But right as he tries to send it out, Tiago Splitter cuts through the lane. The pass hits Splitter right in the face, snapping his head back and popping up into the air, where it was controlled by Jeremy Lamb.
