Donald Sterling is back in the headlines, and this time he is apparently asking for forgiveness from a predominantly Black Church service in Los Angeles.

Yes, you read that correctly. Over the weekend, the soon to be former Los Angeles Clippers owner who was ousted by the NBA after making racist and disparaging remarks in a recorded conversation was caught by TMZ attended a Praises of  Zion Baptist Church service in California.

Luckily, TMZ was there to catch the entire ordeal on video. Check it out below:

Ultimately, Sterling came and went from the service without incident or much hoopla. There is no word as to whether or not Sterling addressed the church-goers, but reports say that Sterling was there to support the congregation and they willingly accepted him.

NBA Commissioner, Adam Silver fined Sterling $2.5 million and banned him from the NBA for life for his racist comments made back in March. As a result of the fallout, Sterling’s estranged wife Shelley will reportedly sell the Clippers to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for a $2 billion sum. Sterling, who has publicly stated that he wants to fight back against the NBA, will reportedly not be able to block the sale of the Clippers.

V. Stiviano, who Sterling was talking to during the recorded conversation where his racist ideals came to light, was also in the news this weekend as she was reportedly attacked in New York according to her Lawyer. No police report was filed, but her lawyer stated that one will likely be filed today.
