Star Wars: Episode VII – New images leaked from the set


UPDATE: Disney has requested that we take these images down. Sorry folks. But hey, it is the internet so you may still be able to find them somewhere.

As most Star Wars fans are well aware, filming on the brand new Star Wars: Episode VII is well under way. At this point, fans are on the edge of their seats trying to get their hands on anything that could give them a look at what they can expect when the film hits theaters next December. Thankfully, we have stumbled upon just such a thing this morning.

Thanks to the good people over at TMZ, we have a look at some new “super-secret” images direct from the set of the upcoming galactic sequel.

One of the biggest reveals in the new images is a new creature that looks a lot like a white rhino mixed with a pig.

According to TMZ, the odd looking alien creature is being manned by five people within the creature’s stomach. It would seem as if the creature will be seen in scenes that take place within the Tattooine Marketplace.

TMZ is reporting that the new film, which be being helmed by Star Trek Into Darkness director J.J. Abrams, will be moving away from an overt amount of CG effects and leaning more on the practical effects used in the original Star Wars trilogy.

Star Wars: Episode VII is being directed by the director of the most recent Star Trekfilms J.J. Abrams. Abrams also co-wrote the script for the film with Lawrence Kasdan, the man responsible for the screenplays for The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
