The college baseball season for the Florida State Seminoles ended this past week with a losses in the Regional round at home. With that, it’s now time for the Heisman winner Jameis Winston to focus on the upcoming college football season where he will help defend the team’s national championship as well as his Heisman Trophy.
He’s going to need to get to work on the field because he’s going to have some new receivers to get used to. With the losses of Kelvin Benjamin and Kenny Shaw, the FSU passing game is going to need some chemistry lessons over the course of this summer before they take the field for their opener against Oklahoma State.
Or, Winston could just pass the ball to himself…
Well now there’s a play that head coach Jimbo Fisher could toss into the game plan for the upcoming year.
Winston is coming off one of the more successful debut seasons that anyone has ever seen in college football. En route to that Heisman and national title, Winston threw for over 4,000 yards with 40 touchdowns and just 10 interceptions.
It’ll be hard to follow that up this season, but even with the aforementioned losses in the receiving corps, he has one of the best contributors returning in Rashad Greene, as well as a plethora of former top recruits ready to step up and steal the spotlight.
