Uncharted 3 is now free for US PSN members

In life it’s always great to get things for free, as it gives you the option to spend money on something else. It’s even more of an added bonus when you can get a video game for free.

One of the best titles to release for PS3 is now free for US PSN members, and this would be Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

To make sure that it was real, Game Informer even tried it download it and had no issues whatsoever.

This was a good move by Sony to make this title free for people, as you don’t even need a PS Plus account.

It gives people the chance to play a great game, if they haven’t done so yet. The game comes from developer Naughty Dog where protagonist Nathan Drake and his partner Victor Sullivan travel to various places around the world in search of a legendary lost city.

Uncharted 3 was received well by critics, in winning numerous Game of the Year awards. Some of the praises about the game were the writing, voice acting, graphics, cinematic quality and story. The game shipped 3.8 million copies worldwide on launch day.

The game also includes a separate multiplayer component with network play that has competitive and cooperative modes of play.

Since Sony is probably going to reveal more information about Uncharted 4 for PS4 at their media briefing next week, this is a good to catch up on the story of our favorite treasure hunter.
