WWE releases list of potential DVD topics

WWE recently sent out a new “Fan Council” survey, containing dozens of new ideas for new three-disc WWE DVD sets, asking how viewers would feel about the releases.

These don’t necessarily mean the WWE will release features on the topics, but instead is used to gauge interest on the topics.

Inside the Rivalry (Hulk Hogan vs. Roddy Piper): Non-kayfabe look into the 80′s rivalry with interviews of WWE Superstars and the people behind the scenes.

Inside WrestleMania (The Hardy’s vs. The Dudleys vs. Edge & Christian, Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Rock, Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker, Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin): Personal real-life accounts & memories from (X) and (X), providing a never-before-seen look at footage that truly takes fans INSIDE WrestleMania.

Inside the Match (Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Rock, Hulk Hogan vs. Mr. McMahon, John Cena vs. The Rock, Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart): Non-kayfabe look into the matches of (X) vs. (X) with interviews of WWE Superstars and the people behind the scenes.

WWE Reveals (The Owen Hart Story, Jerry Lawler/Andy Kaufman, The Curtain Call): In-depth look at the (X) story, controversial moments in WWE History in and out of the ring, plus 2 bonus discs of matches.

One Man Show (Ric Flair, Chris Jericho, The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin): Hear the personal tales, life lessons, and never before told road stores in (X)’s own words in this intimate stage show.

Documentaries (Sting, Hulk Hogan, DX, Andre the Giant): A 90-120 minute documentary on the personal and professional life of (X) (like ESPN’s “30 for 30″), plus 2 bonus discs of matches.

Reunion Specials- The KLIQ: The KLIQ Reunion (Triple H, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, X-Pac and Shawn Michaels) reunites 5 of the most influential and controversial men in sports entertainment history. Both in the ring and behind the scenes.

All Axxess (Daniel Bryan, The Wyatt Family, The Shield): Follow a behind the scenes journey in the life of (X) on his road to WWE Superstardom (like “Journey to WrestleMania: Daniel Bryan” or HBO’s “24/7: Mayweather v. Pacquiao”)

In addition, the survey also listed multiple topics for possible three-disc sets.

The survey has five options, ranging from “definitely will not buy” to “definitely will buy” for all of the aforementioned possibilitles.
