Ice Cube center stage in new featurette for 22 Jump Street (Video)

We are just about one week away from the release of the new comedy 22 Jump Street. On Tuesday, we showed you a new TV Spot for the upcoming film that showed actor Jonah Hill getting beat down by a girl, of all people. Now, thanks to the people over at Sony Pictures Entertainment, we have a look at a new featurette for the film that centers on Captain Dickson.

As most of you know, the role of Captain Dickson in the Jump Street films is being played by the one and only Ice Cube. In the new featurette, directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, along with Jonah Hill and Ice Cube himself discuss some of the changes in the new film.

After the conclusion of the last film, the Jump Street program seemed to have received some more funding, so their headquarters got a bit of an upgrade, including an office for Dickson that looks just like, you guessed it, a giant ice cube.

Ice Cube also believes that Dickson is a little meaner in the new film, which definitely has shined through in the latest trailers and TV Spots for the film.

Why don’t you take a look for yourself? Here is a look at the latest featurette for the upcoming film 22 Jump Street.

Fair warning, there is some explicit language in the featurette, so if you are offended by such, or not exactly in a place where such language would be appropriate, please proceed with caution.

Directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will be returning to their director’s chairs for the upcoming sequel. Screenwriters Michael BacallOren Uziel, and Rodney Rothman have penned the script for the film.

22 Jump Street stars Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill as Jenko and Schmidt. The film also stars Dave FrancoNick OffermanPeter StormareIce CubeRichard GriecoRob Riggle, and many more.

22 Jump Street is scheduled to be released on June 13, 2014.
