Dante plays Mario Mandzukic in foosball to preview World Cup opening game (Video)

The 2014 World Cup in Brazil kicks off on June 12th, less than a week away, when Brazil hosts Croatia. To preview the game, a pair of Bayern Munich teammates simulated the game playing foosball.

That is right, foosball.

Dante was representing his country Brazil and Mario Mandzukic was representing Croatia, and the video starts with the two standing with flags draped over their shoulders as they listened to their national anthems.

The miniature players have uniforms over their plastic bodies to better represent their countries. Dante adds a miniature afro to his player to make the game even more authentic.

Then the game begins.

It looks like it is just the first to score wins and Dante gets that honor and celebrates. The video would be a lot better if you could understand the trash talking going between the two teammates.

Still it is pretty entertaining and with the World Cup weeks away we’re taking in all the World Cup content and entertainment we can’t.

The real question is whether we can elaborate on this, I want to see a full on foosball tournament to predict which teams from the field of 32 advance out of their groups to the round of 16.

Can we get on that?
