LeBron James ‘angry’ cramps forced him at end of Game 1
By Mike Dyce
The AC went out at the AT&T Center in game one of the NBA Finals turning the arena into a sauna. The heat caught up to Miami Heat superstar LeBron James who cramped up multiple times during the fourth quarter and was forced to sit out.

James was upset that the cramps forced him to sit out while the San Antonio Spurs went on a run to lock up the win.
“I did everything that I needed to do to prepare for this game, prepare for this moment and to feel like my body failed me,” James said, via Sports Illustrated. “I was angry in the fact that I couldn’t help my team get over the hump. In a huge Game 1, I wanted to make a statement.”
The cramps that forced him to sit out was fodder for the internet and social medias and everyone weighed in on James sitting out of an NBA Final with a cramp. Even former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Jonathan Martin, who was a victim of bullying by teammates, called out James.
James doesn’t care.
“I really don’t care what people say about me, I don’t care about that drink group … I’m not even going to say their name,” James said. “This is about the Spurs and the Heat, and it’s not about everybody else. I don’t care.”
James has already confirmed that he will be playing in game two of the NBA Finals. Hopefully the AC unit will be fixed by then and the Spurs will test the unit before hand.
