The Street competition features a park that is complete with raw street elements like stirs, concreted rails, ledges and air elements, trying to emulate street style gaps. Riders get two runs in the first round with their best score determining their ranking, the best six of course advancing to the finals.
The final gives each rider three opportunities to get the best score possible.

Reynolds, Morrow, Enarson, Roche, Smith and Raiford all advance to the final. In the first round Dakota Roche took command of first place with a 89.33 in his first run of the Final. Dennis Enarson was able to linger behind Roche after his second run with an 89.00.
Garrett Reynolds was able to get an 89.00 heading into the final runs to make the podium race incredibly interesting and setting p a dramatic final.
Jeremiah Smith was in fourth place heading into the final run with an 86.66, but took a spill early in the run. That move kept him from getting into contention for a medal after winning a bronze at last year’s X-Games in Los Angeles.
Roche came into the final run with a 0.33 lead for the gold medal and didn’t rest on his score going into the third and final run. It tailed off though and wasn’t impressive enough to improve his score.
Enarson came out with a lot more motivation trying to narrow the gap with Roche and had an incredible run with a 360 jump off a ramp. He lost his line and finished with an 85.66 in his third run. He was the most consistent rider with his first run and second run scores both coming over 88, the only rider to do so in the first two runs.
Garrett Reynolds started his third and final run with a big move and a lot of momentum as well trying to climb the podium though he came in with a top three score. There was a near miss at the final 360 of the run, but he held on to land it. It looked liked a gold medal run that was basically flawless and the judges rewarded him with a 90.66 moving him into first place and winning the Gold Medal. It is his seventh medal in X Games history.
That means Dakota Roche grabbed silver and Dennis Enarson grabbed third place.
