Belmont Stakes 2014: Preview, post positions, betting odds and more

On Saturday afternoon, the final and longest leg of the Triple Crown will be held at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York when California Chrome attempts to end the streak and become the first Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978.

Winning the Triple Crown is one of the most difficult accomplishments in sports, but there is no denying the fact that California Chrome has what it takes to join the historic group of race horses.

Saturday marks the 146th running of the race, and you can see all of the viewing information below.

The toughest competition for California Chrome will be Wicked Strong and Tonalist, but the Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner is still listed as the heavy favorite among the eleven-horse field.

Nothing will come easy on Saturday evening, but if California Chrome is able to come away with the win then the sports world will have witnessed history in 2014.
