Every year in the month of June, college baseball gets the chance to take center stage in the sports world as eight of the best teams in the land all vie for the national championship in the College World Series in Omaha. While the sport doesn’t garner much mainstream attention during the regular season, it’s tournament format has the eyes of the sports world upon it.

The process starts in the regional round with 64 teams selected throughout various regions with host squads. That’s played under a double-elimination format with the right to move on to the next round, the Super Regionals.

16 teams play in the Super Regionals under a best-of-three format throughout the weekend, and in the end, there are only eight teams left standing, all of which then head off to Omaha for the College World Series.

For the 2014 tournament, here’s a look at the entire World Series schedule for the 2014 season, which will begin on June 14.
