UCLA guard Bryce Alford was an instrumental part in helping his dad lead the UCLA Bruins on their improbable NCAA Tournament run, leading them all the way to a date with the top-seeded Florida Gators before they were ultimately defeated.
Alford got better and better as the season went along of shooting and handling the ball in his father’s offense, showing off a bit of the versatility in his skill set.
However, I’m not sure anyone knew that he could do what you’re about to see in the video below.
Watch as Alford kicks in a full court shot. Yes, you read that correctly. He kicks the ball, with his foot, from one end of the court to the other, and it swishes in.
If you still can’t wrap your head around that explanation, just watch…
Now judging right off the bat, there’s no way the video is doctored in any way, right? I mean, he immediately takes the ball from the first shot from behind the backboard that he makes, and then launches it all the way to the other end with his foot.
The only thing that’s questionable is his reaction afterward. How is he so calm? Any of us that hit a shot like that would be going full-blown bananas.
Unless, this is just something that he does for fun all the time.
