Just a cat hanging out on a boat in McCovey Cove (Video)

Ain’t nothing, just a cat hanging out on a boat floating in McCovey Cove outside AT&T Stadium in the middle of a Mets-Giants game. Hello cat. You’re on television. Ron Darling is just tickled pink right now. He’s a cat person, evidently. That’s nice. It indicates sensitivity and an artistic temperament.

Who had the best feline nickname in MLB history? There was The Big Cat Andres Galarraga, and also The Big Cat Johnny Mize. Big Puma Lance Berkman. Harry “The Cat” Brecheen. Don “Tiger” Hoak. Jim “Kitty” Kaat.

Got to go with Big Puma, just because it’s so weird. What about Lance Berkman made someone think of a puma? Between that nickname and Fat Elvis, which do you think Berkman prefers?

This has been your official MLB cat-on-a-boat update. If any other animals show up on boats in McCovey Cove, we’ll be sure to get you that information straight away. We’re on the look out for dogs, gerbils, parrots, goldish, pythons, pretty much anything you can fit on a boat.

Umm that’s Keith Hernandez, not Ron Darling. To each his own though.
