UFC sells out Dublin in moments

The UFC has struck gold in the Irish market as UFC Fight Night: Dublin sold out to the general public in a record amount of time.

The UFC had anticipated a situation like this, according to UFC Event Director David Allen, who said he expected the event to sell out in record time.

In a matter of moments, all general tickets had been bought.

The event is being sold on the back of Irish star Conor McGregor, whose loud mouth and high-level ability has made him a superstar in just two UFC fights. McGregor last fought in August 2013, tore his ACL and was forced to undergo reconstructive surgery, and will see his fight against Diego Brandao serve as his return bout.

Although all general tickets have been sold, VIP packages remain.

The UFC has to be thrilled with the sales, as they’ve pushed McGregor hard as a new star, and look to hit the European and international markets hard.

With the emergence of McGregor and their numerous Russian stars, the UFC is going to have no shortage of talent on these shows.
