During its media briefing on Monday evening, Ubisoft announced that its popular dance franchise will be making a return this year in the form of Just Dance 2015.
Just Dance 2015 will be released in October on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Wii U. This game will be the only offering in the form of dance titles on non-Xbox consoles after it was revealed that Dance Central: Spotlight will be an Xbox One and Xbox 360 exclusive.
It was also announced that a new version of Just Dance, entitled Just Dance Now, will allow users to use their internet connected TV, tablets or computers to experience the dancing fun with friends. Instead of having a camera watch your every move, Just Dance Now will use a player’s phone to track movements and allot points. This adds a new twist to one of the most popular party games on the market.
More to come…
Mike’s Musings: I can’t dance, and I’ll be the first one to admit that. Still, I love watching others make fools out of themselves by trying to dance with these games. Just Dance 2015 should provide no shortage of fun for people like me looking for a good laugh.
