Since it’s PlayStation days, the Tomb Raider franchise has failed to create a sustainable, but following the release of last years Tomb Raider, the franchise has finally created a reboot that fans of old and new have enjoyed. And following up with that success, Crystal Dynamics revealed at E3 the sequel for last years TR, Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Here is the trailer below.
The expeditions of Lara Croft never get old as seen in the trailer. Like always, Croft is climbing, jumping, diving, and killing with her bow-and-arrow while speaking in a therapy session that alluded to bad dreams, likely connected to the activities that happened in the last Tomb Raider.
The gameplay looks similar to that of the previous version of Tomb Raider, but with the increase in graphics thanks to the next generation system, her expeditions look ten times as awesome and 100 times as thrilling.
If Tomb Raider can continue the fell that was introduced with the franchise during its inception, this version of the game will be around for years to come.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is expected to release in Fall of 2015 for both the Xbox One and Playstation 4. It’s unclear if Rise will be available on last generation systems (Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii).
