From the reveal of Little Big Planet 3 to the very first gameplay for Mortal Kombat X, Sony’s E3 media briefing had no shortage of incredible announcements and trailers. Of course, Sony did what it does best and saved the best for last with the latest trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
As Sony went off the air with their briefing SCEA president Andrew House introduced the newest game from acclaimed developer Naughty Dog.
“The next generation of Nathan Drake is going to be very real and will explore what it means when Drake is forced back into the world of thieves,” said Naughty Dog. “He will embark on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure.
“It’s his greatest adventure yet and will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.”
This is expected to be the last installment of the Uncharted series, and the fact that the phrase “one last time” was uttered a number of time really gives of the impression that this is Nathan Drake’s last ride. The game will run in full 1080p on the PlayStation 4.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will launch in 2015.
