AMC’s The Walking Dead returning to Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights

For the third year in a row, AMC’s hit Original Series The Walking Dead will be featured at Universal Studios during the 24th Annual Halloween Horror Nights.

There is absolutely no denying that AMC’s The Walking Dead is one of the most popular and compelling shows on television today. Now, thanks to the people at Universal Studios, fans from all over will get to witness what it would be like to enter the world of The Walking Dead.

Both Universal Studios Hollywood in California and Universal Orlando in Florida will feature an all-new immersive experience in the world of The Walking Dead when the annual scarefest Halloween Horror Nights kicks off in September.

The event couldn’t be more perfectly timed, as it falls right in line with the premiere of the fifth season of The Walking Dead on AMC.

According to Mike Aiello, Creative Development Director for Universal Orlando Entertainment says that this year’s maze will be the largest maze they have ever produced in the history of Halloween Horror Nights.

When you step into the maze, you will be walking right into the journey that the survivors took when the midseason finale of The Walking Dead began. It is also said that the new maze will contain more scareactors than ever before.

Here is a look at the official announcement for the attraction featuring The Walking Dead executive producer Greg Nicotero.

Obviously, this is just the first of many announcements to come in terms of the other haunted houses that Universal will be presenting at this year’s event.

The good news is, if this is the first announcement they have, you can guarantee that they have some exciting stuff planned for the remainder of the event.

Halloween Horror Nights 24 runs from September 19thNovember 1st at Universal Studios Orlando.
