World Cup odds 2014: Brazil the favorites

The 2014 World Cup is right around the corner, and everyone is hoping their team can make a deep run in the tournament. The first step towards hoisting that trophy and getting out of your group but only two can advance from each group. The folks over at Odds Shark broke down the favorites to exit each group as the winner and it is a pretty solid list of perennially strong teams.

Group National Team Odds
A Brazil 2-9
B Spain 20-27
C Colombia 2-3
D Italy 3-2
E France 4-5

Klinsmann said the United States would have to play the game of their life every game to win the World Cup or even reach the final. They’re also in a group with Germany (11-to-2 odds) and Portugal (25-to-1 odds.
