E3 2014: Battlefield: Hardline to run at 1080p and 60fps on Xbox One

As many Xbox One gamers can attest to, it is getting old watching the PlayStation 4 be able to pump out the same games available on the Xbox One with advanced specifications.  Visceral Games wants it made known that Battlefield: Hardline will make sure to buck that trend, and get everything out of the Xbox One.

In a recent interview Gaming Bolt did with the Creative Director behind Battlefield: Hardline, Ian Milham was able to set the record straight on a couple of subjects.

Most importantly, Gaming Bolt posed the question about where the Xbox One version of Battlefield: Hardline would come in at, with the game already confirmed to run at 1080p and 60 fps on the PlayStation for.  Ian had this to say:

“If you look at the games that Visceral Games has made before, we have always strive for total parity between our platforms,” Ian explained. “Of course, the PC version, it will do whatever your PC can handle, and the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will obviously not be as high res as compared to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. But those two [PS4 and Xbox One] should be locked in together.”
Battlefield: Hardline showed some pretty impressive gameplay footage early on at this years E3.  A Heist demo was shown during Microsoft’s press conference, and the online portion of the game looks like it’s shaping up to be an absolute blast.  While the subject matter of the series may have changed, Visceral looks like they have returned Battlefield back to the top.
