E3 2014: Mass Effect 4 won't ignore series trilogy

During the EA media briefing earlier this week it was shown that Bioware is working on the next game in Mass Effect series, which is Mass Effect 4.

Since that reveal, Bioware has confirmed that the new title will have some references to the original trilogy.

It’s currently unknown where the game takes place at, but the Bioware Edmonton and Montreal Aaryn Flynn recently spoke with GameTrailers.

He mentioned the team had a “really cool idea” about how to advance the franchise.

““I can’t get into that too much,” he added. “We’ve got a really cool idea for how we’re going to carry on – keep the trilogy separate but at the same time give a bunch of nods to fans who enjoyed the trilogy in the past. That’s all going to come out soon.”

According to Eurogamer, Flynn talked about returning characters and some of the races that would make be in the new title.

The video that was shown during EA’s conference said that Mass Effect 4  would move forward and take the series to a whole new region of space.

This could mean it’s set in a new galaxy, or a different place entirely. Regardless of where the game takes place it will great to play, because this is one title people can’t wait to get their hands on.

You can leave a comment below with your thoughts on where Mass Effect 4 will take place, and some of the returning characters we’ll see.
