E3 2014: Rewatch the Super Smash Bros. Tournament

On Tuesday night, Nintendo held its Super Smosh Bros. invitational tournament, featuring some of the top players in the world. The event was broadcast live across the world of Nintendo’s Twitch channel, but that doesn’t mean that everyone was able to see it.

Thankfully, with the power of the Internet, you are able to go back and re-watch then entire two-hour event for yourself. Or, if you only missed part of it all, you can scroll through the video, and find what you missed.

The tournament provided fans a detailed look into the gameplay of the Wii U version that hadn’t been seen before. New levels and characters were showcased, and it made for an all-around fun time. You can watch it for yourself in the video below.

I won’t spoil the eventual winner of it all, but I will let you in on who makes it to the final fight. The Grand Finals featured Kirby and Zero Suit Samus in eight-minute, four-stock and no item battle on Battlefield that saw one of best fights of the night.

What did you think of the Super Smash Bros. invitational tournament? Do you feel seeing the game in action like this will convince more consumers to pick up a Wii U console to play the game? Let us know in the comment section below.
